Office Manager

A dynamic company in Duluth, GA has an immediate position for an office manager. 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

·  Manage day-to-day operations of the main office and provide support to the recycling facilities

·  Assist Executive Director and Finance & Planning Director on special projects and daily operations

·  Manage equipment and vendor contracts including leases, purchases, etc.

·  Manage office supplies inventory and ordering supplies when necessary

·  Serve as liaison with landlord and facilities maintenance (HVAC, lighting, office furniture, office set up, etc.)

·  Provide administrative and clerical support as requested, including preparing presentation materials for scheduled meetings and special events

·  Participate in all special events, programs and projects as requested by the Executive Director

·  Meet and greet guests

·  Other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:

·  Five plus years experience as an Office Manager in a mid to large size office; professional certification preferred (AA degree or higher preferred)

·  Demonstrated experience in improving office operating effectiveness and wise stewardship of resources

·  Previous experience effectively building and managing a productive administrative team

·  Possesses ability to anticipate needs

·  Positive team work attitude

·  Strong attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

·  Ability to handle proprietary information and confidential matters with discretion

·  Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently while meeting deadlines accordingly

·  Ability to understand the big picture and relate it to daily tasks

·  Work well during stressful situations

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access); PowerPoint a plus

·  Basic computer hardware/software troubleshooting capabilities
