About the Protective Services Caseworker position:

 

The Protective Services Caseworker visits clients in their homes to investigate reports of elder abuse, neglect and financial exploitation.  The caseworker provides consultation and crisis intervention to alleviate abuse and neglect, in addition to conducting community training, outreach and advocacy.

 

Minimum qualifications: BA +2 yrs of experience in counseling, casework or case management preferably in a protective services, crisis intervention or nursing capacity; an MSW or MA in psychology, counseling, human development, nursing or gerontology and 1 yr of experience may be substituted for BA +2 yrs of experience.  Experience working in a community setting and / or Social Work license preferred.
