Paralegal / Contracts Administrator

Department Overview: The Paralegal in this position reports to several attorneys in the WGBH Business and Legal Affairs Department. Under their supervision, the Paralegal will perform research, collect information, and draft all contracts and other legal documents and respond to general business and legal questions. Responsible for maintaining a working environment that leverages the potential and diversity of the department's entire staff. Provide direction and leadership in such a way as to nurture, create and maintain an environment that is (1) free from discrimination, intolerance and harassment and (2) provides employees with equal access to opportunities for growth and advancement including professional development whenever possible. Position Overview: The Paralegal in this position reports to several attorneys in the WGBH Business and Legal Affairs Department. A minimum of three years paralegal or relevant/related experience, and the following skills are required: strong reading, writing, verbal, and analytical skills; excellent negotiating,organizational and communication skills, including demonstrated writing ability and the proven capability to set priorities and to meet deadlines. Familiarity with MS Word required. General production knowledge desired, but not required.
