Payroll Coordinator
Payroll Coordinator
Human Resources Dept.
Housing Works, a leading multi-disciplinary social service program serving individuals with HIV/AIDS is currently seeking a professional to join our HR Dept in Brooklyn, NY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Compile payroll data such as garnishments, PTO time, insurances and 403B deductions.
* Poll electronic time (E-time software) and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
* Contact various department supervisors for any missed times.
* Process bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP.
* Manage and administer the entire payroll, eTime and ReportSmith databases.
* Produce monthly payroll reports
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT:
* Thorough knowledge of multiple ADP’s applications including: PCP/W, Enterprise e-Time, e-Timephone, HR/B, and iPay
* Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, ReportSmith.
* Clear written and verbal communications.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Must be detail oriented
* Work well in a team environment.
* Able to maintain confidential information.
* Must value good customer service
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
* Must be committed to participating in events/actions in conjunction with advocacy to end the twin crisis of homelessness and HIV/AIDS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is preferred.
* Ability to organize and prioritize work.
* 2-3 years of ADP eTime and payroll processing experience required.
* Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PCPW, ReportSmith and E-Time.
We offer a salary of $40,000 commensurate with experience and excellent benefits.
