Payroll Specialist II

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our Payroll department.

This position will produce accurate and timely payroll checks, payroll reports and payroll deposit. Assist with tax filing. Handle bi-weekly payroll processing for over 1,600 employees in a team environment. Distribute time and attendance reports, make corrections, transmit to payroll service, distribute and file reports. After payroll is completed, research errors and prepare corrections for the next pay period. Process and reconcile garnishments.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years recent experience in processing payroll for 500+ employees using ADP. Must be detailed oriented with Good math and communications skills. A general understanding of payroll taxes and filing/reporting of it. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for meeting deadlines.
