Program Manager

The Program Manager for SmartCare, a program which oversees the provision of in-home support services to over 400 older adults and persons with chronic illness throughout New Hampshire.  The Program Manager provides philosophical and practical leadership in the design and implementation of services, and demonstrates commitment to community based and consumer directed services.  The Program Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the program and its services, including, provision of services, hiring and supervision of staff, budget preparation and monitoring, contract management, promotion of the program to constituents and development of new programs within the service line.  Lutheran Social Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, and a willingness to travel throughout New England.  Knowledge of state and federal regulations for elderly services and state funding.  Ability to make dynamic presentations to a variety of groups and individuals.  Valid driver's license required.  Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history check, acceptable DMV record and a DHS check. LSS offers competitive pay and outstanding full and part time benefits including medical/dental/vision, LTD, EAP, HCRA, and DCRA savings plans, 403b Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Up to 4 weeks paid time off, 10 paid holidays, direct deposit, employer paid training, and frequent opportunities for advancement.
