QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
$3,379 - $4,117 POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Quality Assurance Specialist conducts monitoring and program evaluation activities of residential
and non-residential services as assigned.  Recommends service improvements and monitors compliance with applicable
laws and regulations.  Candidate will work with service coordination staff in conducting abuse investigations and complaints involving service
providers.  Position also provides technical assistance, consultation, and training to service providers and regional center staff to
enhance the support and services available for consumers and their families.

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s degree in a planning, social science, or health discipline plus 3 years of increasingly responsible related professional experience
 in a health or social services agency (at least one year of which must have been in the field of developmental disabilities)
Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements.
