Re-grant Director

The Council on the Arts and Humanities for Staten Island seeks a staff Re-grants Director to run COAHSI’s re-grant program. The Director of COAHSI’s re-granting programs is responsible for all aspects of the five re-granting programs administered by COAHSI with state, city, and corporate funds. These re-grants support arts and cultural projects presented by individual artists and cultural groups throughout the year in neighborhoods all over Staten Island. The Grants Director also provides technical assistance to applicants and grant recipients at various points to develop proposed and granted projects.

Successful candidates for this position will have good communications and people skills as well as being highly organized but flexible. The Grants Director must be willing to outreach to Staten Island’s increasingly diverse cultural communities and be able to work with a very broad range of constituents that includes artists of all disciplines, arts administrators, community leaders and the general public. The Grants Director should be available to work evenings and weekends.

Deadline for applications is April 30, 2008.
