Our client, an established non-profit organization providing job placement services to the NYC business community, seeks a senior manager to take charge of business development and direct the sales effort in their NY city offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
While holding responsibility for multiple offices, the home office for this position will be the midtown Manhattan headquarters.
The candidate we’re looking for will lead a small staff of Account Executives charged with generating orders from the business community for job placements. This position will also work closely with the recruiting side to ensure that candidate flow and job orders are in line for success. Additionally, the Director will be actively involved in the business development process, coordinating larger initiatives.
You should be comfortable and confident leading the business development team to define and target markets and work campaigns – telesales, direct mail, etc. - to penetrate and grow business in these markets. You will develop and install the processes and mechanics to ensure an organized and targeted go-to-market strategy.
The candidate we are looking for will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years experience at management level in a business to business situation. You will bring a demonstrated history of managing people and systems with ongoing training and cross-functionality, delivering solutions to your customers. You should be capable and comfortable working with the executive team on strategic planning, budgeting and developing written business plans.
