PT Events Coordinator
The PT Event Coordinating Staff is seeking an energetic person to contact and book Power Team Crusades, selling the Power Team Crusade experience to churches that may have never had a Power Team Crusade before, and to motivate, and sell church leadership on hosting a Power Team Crusade. The successful candidate will have excellent grammar, be organized, be a quick thinker, have the ability to change direction quickly, love working with people by phone, have the ability to speak with senior pastors and church lay-leadership effectively, be able to sell or close church leadership on hosting crusades, be detail oriented, and appreciate the value of the Power Team mission into the lives of a community. This person must be able to stay on the phone 6 hours per day. Excellent computer, telephone, and sales skills with strong organization will also enhance their success in this role.

Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A friendly, people-person with the ability to move customers (i.e. churches, schools, businesses and Crusade staff) through the decision-making and organizational processes, leading to a decision to have outstanding Power Team Crusades consistent with PT ministry standards and goals. An organized individual with strong listening skills, outstanding phone skills and effective attention to detail.
· Strong customer service and telephone skills (Quickly developing positive relationships by phone), effective inbound and outbound contact. Strong written and analytical skills.
· Ability to talk to people on the telephone(inbound & outbound) for most of the workday.
· Ability to move churches, Sr. pastors, and decision-makers through the decision-making process of hosting a PT Crusade within our in-house goals and guidelines. (Know every area of a crusade-Be able to answer any question from churches-know all pitches)
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and accurately forecast and plan for current and future booking department needs. Fill all available openings ASAP.
Effective in strengthening relationships with existing customers, and building confidence and credibility when contacting churches, sr. pastors, and key decision makers.
Customer contact tenacity - ability to ‘connect’ with key decision makers, make multiple contacts, and provide all needed information, in order to close them on booking a date.
Affinity for the PT Crusades and their benefit to churches and communities.
Ability for various communication methods; including mail and email correspondence, fax, PT database computer software, preferably experience with contact management methods and procedures.
Organized, Detail-Oriented, Excellent Verbal/Planning/Goal Oriented Skills.
Willingness to travel in relation to responsibilities (when needed).
Responsibilities
Crusade Bookings
· Spend the vast majority of each day contacting potential customers by phone, fax, email and mail with the goal of gaining momentum & excitement in order to book open crusade dates with maximum impact. (i.e. city-wide, Max # of schools, big venues, etc.)
Minimum 60 outbound calls per day.
Build strong, positive relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide “Outstanding” Customer Service to internal/external personnel.
Clear Communication of internal/external details concerning each booked Crusade.
Ability to establish and reach individual PT Crusade Booking goals.
A working knowledge of every area surrounding every PT Policies and Procedures, PT Crusades; working knowledge of the PT manual; and status of PT Crusade calendar.
Develop Creative and innovative ways to enhance the effectiveness of your job as well as PT policies/procedures and goals.
· Effective utilization of Goldmine database/contact management software or systems, in an effort to add value to standard database information.
Make sure correct information is included/customized for each potential PT Crusade Booking via Promotional packets. (i.e. cost/budget info, endorsements-Pastoral/Govt./schools, etc.) Effective/Timely & Continual follow-up is a must.
Always be looking for creative ways to motivate and increase the effectiveness of the crusade booking department.
Always be looking for creative ways to market and communicate the Power Team to potential churches and/or customers(i.e. schools/ business community/ sponsors)
Begin booking new crusades within the DFW market in key churches via strategic planning and execution and a minimum 1 day out of the office monthly on personal presentations.
Begin booking new crusades across the nation in targeted “Bell cow” (Top 500) via strategic planning and execution and a minimum 1 day out of the office quarterly on personal presentations. (Flying in to present to churches) Develop and maintain your “Bell Cow” (Large church) call list throughout the year.
Have a firm grasp of potential booking status by month. (Be able to give a minimal report and within 10 minutes, give a full report)
· Maintain effective communication between all church leadership/decision makers—Confirm all crusade booking churches(City-wide) via direct contact with sr. pastors.
City-wides to begin on Wed. night with team split into participating churches($500 honorarium each) to promote crusade starting TH. Night.
· All crusades booked to have a minimum 500 seat venue/350-400 Sunday attendance unless approved by supervisor.
Responsibilities(Cont.)
Administration
Gather and Maintain PT Goldmine customer database with accurate, up-to-the-date customer contact information (Hot Points, contact names/phone #’s, address changes, telephone conversations-“history” & “pending”.) of both existing customers and prospects…including the tracking of pastors as they move to new churches.
Continue to develop your call list files/ Updating them daily as calls are made. Prioritize/Categorize calls by days/weeks/months/ and year.
Attend Touch-Base, Departmental, and other meetings as required.
Communicate with internal and external customers, in various formats, to maintain a high level of service. Calls and emails to be returned within 24-hours, and written communication within 2 days.
Always be evaluating/updating your crusade booking system.
Become proficient in the use of all PT internal systems such as Goldmine.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase a committed and loyal PT customer base. (Include support/referral letters from churches/schools/businesses and govt. officials.)
Help Update and maintain effective Crusade Manuals Promo packs with all accurate information at all times. Communicate any changes to churches ASAP.
Communicate all PT related crusade policies and procedures to church leadership.
To assist with PT on special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Achieve individual performance goals and goals for assigned projects and crusades.
