The Senior Accountant will be responsible for
Preparation and analysis of financial information, conducting account reconciliations and analysis, preparing journal entries and resolving variances.
Ensures proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
Assists with preparation of annual audit schedules for external auditors and completes special projects.

The Sr. Accountant will work in close coordination with the Controller and Assistant Controller and provide excellent customer service to all staff members.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a non profit or public accounting environment.
a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related subject.
A demonstrated familiarity with principles of not-for-profit accounting needed.
Must be detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills essential. A positive attitude and strong work ethic required.

Salary range: $60 - 70k
