As the Social Work Team Leader, you will manage the social work team and focus on developing team members. The Social Work Team Leader also coordinates the social conduct psycho-social evaluations, facilitates support groups, performs intake and referral calls and administers crisis intervention.

The Social Work Team Leader works in conjunction with all other Vision Rehabilitation team members to accomplish strategic and contractual goals, ensuring that all social work services are provided in a highly effective, timely manner with a strong focus on customer service 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required, LMSW or LCSW preferred, 3-5 years previous social work experience required. At least 2 years supervisory experience required.

 

OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

Previous experience with crisis intervention, group facilitation, healthcare, or working with the elderly or individuals that are disabled preferred. Must have strong interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills and an ability to deal with ambiguity.

Reliable transportation required, as the territory for this position is Monroe and the surrounding counties. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
