Socioeconomic Impact Analyst
The Sublette Community Partnership, a unique public-private community development organization located in Sublette County, Wyoming, is accepting applications for a Socioeconomic Impact Analyst. The analyst is charged with providing socioeconomic trend analysis to local government and community officials amidst rapid expansion resulting from energy development. Sublette County is in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West and home to world-class outdoor recreation opportunities. Local residency is required.
Duties:
Maintain and expand a clearinghouse of information and data on socioeconomic trends. Work with local governments and community groups to identify needs. Design and implement data collection strategies, including survey research. Provide statistical analysis and reports on socioeconomic trends to a diverse array of audiences. Provide trend projections and mitigation strategies, as directed. Assist the Community Development Coordinator with development projects.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Sociology, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Planning, or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree. Basic knowledge of statistical methods, including regression analysis. Ability to communicate data analysis effectively to diverse audiences. Proven ability to be self-motivated and self-directed. Desire to reside in Sublette County, WY. Ideal candidates may have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Federal Land Management, Western Energy Development, The Oil and Natural Gas Industry, Survey and Research Design, Community Impact Assessment, Rural Communities, Amenity-led Development

The position is not-benefited, but offers $55,000 to $70,000 per year in compensation, based on qualifications and experience.
