We have an excellent opportunity for an Accounting and Payroll Specialist in our Seattle office.The Accounting Specialist will perform payroll-processing, review and coordinate accounts payable for Affiliate Financial Services and provide administrative support to assigned staff. Specifically, the Accounting Specialist will: collect all necessary data including employee hours, personal time off, personal holidays, and other adjustments to accurately process semi-monthly payroll in Peoplesoft; review and maintain payroll reports for accuracy and distribute paychecks; handle questions with follow-up in a timely manner regarding payroll and refer employees to Human Resources as necessary; prepare related payroll reports for month end and quarterly reports as needed; oversee travel and expense reimbursements, as well as vouchers/purchase orders; review check req1uests for accuracy; provide back-up assistance to the reception function as assigned.
