This includes planning, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating cost-efficient enterprise systems that support both distributed and centralized grant management and business operations. IT also supports foundation programs directly, consulting on the execution of grants that include IT components.

The Supervisor, Application Development leads the Application Development team in providing lead development support for existing and emerging application systems while developing and driving the technical strategy required to deliver high availability and high performing enterprise scale applications. • Coordinate the overall activity of the development team in support of foundation application systems• Works with IT leadership to establish application development standards• Plans and directs development activities and establishes priorities in keeping with effective operations• Perform client focused business system and service reviews• Implement sustainable application system development methodologies• Implement appropriate changes in policies, procedures and development guidelines where necessary• Implements new methods and procedures for development automation to minimize operating costs and ensure more efficient utilization of personnel and materials• Ensures ongoing software development integrates with Enterprise Architecture, performance interoperability standards and requirements• Provide development focused applications system status report and metrics to senior leadership

Develop an outstanding Applications Development Team that is technically and professionally equipped to contribute to the goals of the IT organization.• Provides leadership and oversight in talent assessment and performance management.• Partners on identifying and implementing professional development plans• Places a high regard on employee engagement and implements elements that creates a high performance cultureQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience• A minimum of 5 years development supervisor/team lead experience• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to prioritize and support multiple work efforts• Experience with end-to-end system development life cycle• Established technical knowledge and experience in: Object Oriented design and development, .Net platform, Multi tier environments, Agile methodology• Design, development and implementation of SharePoint sites/applications• Internet applications and protocols including HTTP, DNS, ASP.NET, and IIS.• HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Web Services, T-SQL and C#.• Application Development methodologies and practices• Relational Database Management methodologies and practices• A deep commitment to the overall mission of the foundation, its programs, and an approach consistent with the foundation’s guiding principles.
