Eckerd Youth Alternatives, a leader in outdoor theraputic education for at-risk youth, is seeking a Master Counselors/Supervisors for Outdoor Counselors for our beautiful Candor, NC location.

Master Counselors are responsible for the supervision and direction of Youth Counselor/Teachers within groups to establish a balanced therapeutic and educational program. In this position, our Master Counselors will lead wilderness trips and be responsible for the supervision of trip planning and preparation. Master Counselors will be aware of total camp operation and ready to assume any duties or responsibilities necessary to ensure successful operation of the group or camp.

A Bachelors degree is preferred. Extensive paid training is provided. Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience. Master Counselors must be able to participate in a variety of outdoors activities including hiking, backpacking, and extended canoe trips. Outdoor experience is strongly preferred.
