TISSUE OPS CONSENT APPROACH COORDINATOR

OneLegacy, a donate life organization, has several immediate  Full-time career opportunities in the LA Wilshire office for Consent Approach Coordinators in the Tissue Operations Department.


Responsibilities include  obtaining donor consents from the legal next-of-kin (LNOK) in a timely and consistent manner; providing the LNOK with honest and unbiased tissue donation options; completing the medical/social history questionnaire; gathering clinical information referral entities and additional healthcare providers; and coordinating the recovery process with tissue processing agencies, recovery staff, and recovery facilities.

 

Qualified candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with certification from an allied healthcare, technical or vocational program and must have completed two of the requirements listed below:Bachelor’s degree in physical or social sciences field.Completion of a LVN, RN, Surgical Technologist, or EMT program.Must have at least six (6) months experience in an organ and tissue call center setting.Must pass a typing test of a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.

 

A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required.  Candidates must also be able to successfully pass the background screening process.
