Teen Outreach Coordinator

The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland has an immediate need for a Teen Outreach Coordinator to join their team.  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland is an affiliate of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the oldest youth serving organization in the nation.  The Cleveland Club serves over 3,000 youths ages 6-18 at five sites throughout the area.  The Clubs provide a safety net to young people, offering them hope for the future and opportunities to develop into responsible, productive adults that reach their potential in life. The Teen Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for implementing teen programs and developing local resources for Club teens ages 14 to 18.  These programs will promote positive self identity; emotional, educational, employment, social and cultural awareness; community and civic involvement; health and life skills and a moral compass.  This position reports to and receives direction from the Club Director. Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:    * 4 year degree in recreation, education or related field.    * Minimum of 2 years experience working with youth ages 6 to 18 in education, recreation and/or social services setting.    * Bi-Lingual English and Spanish required.    * Ability to communicate and motivate youth and manage behavior problems.    * Valid driver's license; no criminal background. This is an opportunity to be part of an organization that is making a difference in children's lives.  Please email your resume in MS Word format.
