Vocational CASAC Instructor

The Vocational CASAC Instructor will be expected to teach the OASAS approved curriculum to residents that have chosen counseling as their vocation while completing treatment.

The instructor is also responsible for implementing a mechanism to measure competence through testing and assigning papers.

Evaluations of the students by the instructor will also be completed at the end of each class cycle.

The preferred candidate will have a BA degree in the field of human services with extensive experience working with substance abusers. Hold a current CASAC credential with some training and or teaching experience.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and correspondence along with good clinical insights and interpersonal skills.
