Educational Services Director For non-profit endeavor in Columbus. Life Town, a program of Friendship Circle, is a simulated village for youth and adolescents with special needs to learn life skills. Responsibilities include coordinating group visits to the facility, working with teachers to adapt appropriate lesson plans for every individual that participates and maintaining high quality atmosphere. Possession minimum of a Bachelor's degree with major in education, social work or psychology from a college or university. Appropriate license in field of practice is required Extensive knowledge regarding services for persons qualifying for special education supports Extensive experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in areas of vocational services, residential services, case management, human services, and related fields.
