2 Outside Sales Representatives-Regional
Job Purpose:
Sells products for the Company to Dealers, Distributor’s, Direct Accounts and Other Customers as directed.
Duties:
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, and/or talks with customers by phone.
Displays or demonstrates product, using product samples and/or presentation materials, and emphasizes salable features.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of the Company’s production and delivery schedules, as well as market demand.
Prepares various and sundry reports of business transactions sales forecasts, and keeps expense accounts.
Works with product managers and product specialists to keep account activities and literature up to date.
Coordinates customer training.
Provides new customer data and other sales data for current customers to management for evaluation, strategic planning, and analysis.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Attends trade shows.
Skills/Qualifications:
Lives and can travel in West Region (CA, AR, OR, or NV) or in North East Region (NY, NJ, PA, OH or GA)
3-4 years Point of Sales, Electronic Cash Register, and Hospitality Market Experience
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office / Word, Power Point and Excel
