Responsible for assuring that all color equipment is operating within Manufacturers’ specifications. Responsible for initiating repairs and scheduling all preventive maintenance to color equipment Requires analysis and compliance of all approved Company and equipment manufacturers’ procedures and standards. Essential Job Duties: 1. Implement and assist in planning, in coordination with the Company Training and Quality Department, all operating and maintenance oriented training programs for associates operating color printing equipment.2. Diagnose equipment and product quality issues and initiate repairs, or oversee repairs, or coordinate with manufacturer’s technicians on the most serious breakdowns. Assure that all color equipment is operated within manufacturers’ specifications. Maintains current knowledge of all printing manufacturers’ operating manuals and guidelines for equipment use and maintenance.3. Attend and successfully complete manufacturer’s advanced training programs in order to maintain the highest level of technical knowledge of color printing equipment. Transfer this advanced knowledge, when appropriate, to color operators as part of the training program outlined in #1, above.4. Maintain the maintenance of, all color printing equipment utilizing manufacturers’ guidelines to maximize “up timeâ€? for printing production. Set all Preventive Maintenance schedules in coordination with Supervisor, and assure their completion.5.
