A highly respected, Baltimore, MD based organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist / Coordinator for this contract position that has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This position requires the ability to perform the following:Ensure timely posting and payment of vendor invoicesSort & file documents and prepare bank deposit statementsReview Accounts Payable reports for accuracyMaintain & review general ledger codingMonth-end close activities and month-end expense accrualsTo be considered, at least 2-3 years experience working with A/P is required. The ideal candidate will be very organized, detail oriented and reliable with the proven ability to handle a diversity of tasks. These are keys to success with this dynamic, stable organization.
