ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR

ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR Regency Hospital has a great opportunity for a full-time Admissions Coordinator. Responsibilities include: obtains all necessary demographic, clinical, financial, physician and family information to facilitate the assessment/ admission process. Assures that assessments are conducted within established time frames and that acuity levels, length of stay and preliminary care plans are obtained from the Clinical Liaisons. Coordinates tours with key members of the Regency care team, assuring that clinical, operation and financial questions are answered. Involves administrative staff, as needed, in order to meet and exceed patient/family expectations. High school graduate. Post secondary education in business, accounting or related field preferred. 3-5 years of prior related experience in a hospital, physician practice or insurance environment. Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact and develop relationships with a broad range of individuals.
