AP Coordinator

Job Summary:



This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policies.  In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining the fixed asset module in Peoplesoft.

 

Essential Functions:

Match invoice with purchase order and receiver and enter voucher information into the Peoplesoft Accounts Payable (AP) module for paymentReview expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Company’s Expenditure policyGenerate checks and distribute to vendorsMaintain the Concur expense reporting system and download information into the Peoplesoft AP module for paymentAudit expense reports to ensure compliance with Company’s T&E policy Generate ACH payments for employee expense reportsProcess asset additions, disposals, and transfers in the Peoplesoft Asset Management (AM) modulePrepare monthly reconciliation of Peoplesoft AM module to general ledgerManage and track capital in processPrepare various capital spending reports for distributionAdminister petty cash including disbursements, bank deposits/withdrawals, and reconciliation/journal entryPrepare annual 1099 documents



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Good working knowledge of computerized systems is requiredAbility to work independently and communicate with senior management, employees and outside agencies on a regular basis



Minimum education and work experience required:

3-5 years of work experience in accounts payable is required and experience in fixed asset accounting or other general ledger accounting is highly desired
