Account Associate

The Account Associate is responsible for working with the account management team, clients, and other athena functions to ensure highly responsive issue resolution, proactive communication, and dedicated account management.The Associate will report directly to a Senior Account Manager.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Independently manage selected accounts;
Develop innovative solutions to complex client services problems;
Work independently to identify sources at the trend level of client performance and recommend courses of action to the Account Manager;
Lead and coordinate Account related projects;
Recommend and execute client communication strategies for daily client operations as well as adherence to “Athena air” procedures;
Gather, organize, track, analyze and deliver to clients daily, weekly, and monthly case, system, operational and financial performance trends;
Maintain proactive daily communication with clients on daily administrative, workflow, financial and management issues;
Meet departmental timeliness and quality metrics;
Other duties as assigned
Required of All Employees of the Client Operationsepartment:
Mastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word,
Excel and Powerpoint.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree;
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field (health care, physician practice management, technology, teaching, training, client services, project management);
Demonstrated knowledge of medical practice billing and operations;
Understanding of practice management and workflow;
Experience in positions requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to significant matters;
Proven ability to work independently to achieve goals;
Strong computer literacy and the comfort, ability and desire to advance technically;
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills;
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks;
Outgoing, confident, and articulate;
Good client-facing skills and strong interpersonal skills;
Self-directed, self starter;
Demonstrated analytical skills.
