M|C Communications was founded in 1994 as an innovative conference and tradeshow management company whose strategic focus was on providing learning and networking opportunities for professionals.  Today M|C Communications, owned and operated by Bain Capital, is a leading provider of accredited continuing medical education (CME) programs for physicians through its Pri-Med brand.  Currently, Pri-Med educates 1 out of every 3 U.S. physicians with a network of programs that are linked across channels and consist of 150+ live meetings in 8 countries and 45+ U.S. cities, 300+ web based activities and print publications distributed to over 200,000 physicians and healthcare practitioners.  Pri-Med's educational activities accelerate the impact of medical knowledge, so that physicians can apply what they learned at Pri-Med and use it in their practice the very next day.

We are seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Account Services team. The Account Coordinator will be responsible for providing primary support to the sales team in the organization, management, and preparation of grants, proposals, client reports and client communications.  This role necessitates a process-orientation, attention to detail and management and tracking of multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

 

This is an ideal role for candidates who strive to take on significant responsibility for customer satisfaction, seamless execution, and contribute to business profitability. The person in this role coordinates and tracks progress of each new business opportunity to ascertain timely submission of sales and is highly involved in the development and submission of grants, proposals and reports based on client specifications. The Account Coordinator provides status updates for each new business opportunity as requested and assists in the review of client-submitted RFIs by compiling information requested. The Account Coordinator is the secondary point of contact for client inquiries related to grant submission, monthly reporting and program progress. This role assists with the execution of program reconciliations and executes sales order entry for all assigned accounts. Coordination and communication of client meetings through a key event calendar to ensure internal teams are resourced appropriately to deliver on client expectations. It is also the responsibility of the Account Coordinator to develop and maintain reliable, informative and professional relations with all departments involved in the process by exhibiting strong organizational, communication, and leadership qualities. Key deliverables to manage include: Presentations, Proposals, Grants, Letters of Agreements, Budget reconciliations, and Reporting. The person in this role is required to develop expertise in the assigned client’s systems and processes and is responsible for entering and updating opportunity tracking information into CRM system (SLX), to track progress to sales goal and indicate fully closed sale. The Account Coordinator will manage a fluid and client-focused experience that will promote growth and continuity based on flawless execution of pre-sale, program management and post-sale activities.

 

Qualified prospective candidates for this role will have 2-3 years proven experience providing excellent customer service and client satisfaction and will exhibit superior multi-tasking skills ensuring organization and management of multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment is essential, as are solid organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. A keen ability to pay attention to detail and engage in detailed follow-up in a high volume business environment including proofreading and fact-checking as necessary.
