Our Aerospace & Defense Business Unit provides global industry analysis, market forecasts, and insights into emerging technologies that are designed to add value to clients’ business operations.  Our clients are provided with key information regarding critical market opportunities, and are offered timely and relevant subject matter in strategic industry research areas including Defense & Security, Commercial Aerospace, Training & Simulation, and Autonomous Systems. The Account Executive Career Opportunity

 

As an Account Executive with the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit within Frost & Sullivan, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts within the Growth Partnership Services framework. You will identify, develop and present product and service solutions that best meet our clients’ strategic business needs.  Utilizing effective consultative sales and servicing strategies, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities for the development of long-term business partnerships by creating superior value for our clients.  As a successful Account Executive, you will add to the growth of the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit, and our company overall, by building value for our solutions and increasing revenues through renewable business relationships.

 

Key job responsibilities:

 Effectively penetrate and manage an assigned group of industry accounts to create a strong client base for our Aerospace & Defense Business Unit within the GPS frameworkLeverage business resources to forge new consultative client business relationships, while maintaining success with existing client relationshipsApply critical thinking, creativity and effective business communication skills to identify critical client needs and formulate appropriate Frost & Sullivan solutionsExercise effective consultative sales strategies and closing techniques to successfully achieve individual sales and performance goals monthly, quarterly, and annually

 

 

 

Key attributes for success:

 Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated professional experience in consultative sales, telephone sales, or business development preferredBachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field of study preferredIndustry experience in one or more of the Aerospace & Defense industry groups a plusEffective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a non-structured environment Outstanding written and oral communication skills – able to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environment and in all mediums. Strong knowledge of PC software programs, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and E-mail programs (Lotus Notes preferred)Ability to contribute positively in a team-oriented settingAn energetic, career-minded attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
