We are seeking a sales executive to work in our Rockville, MD office, to build relationships and provide the highest level of service to high-potential clients. Client Services Executives will utilize consultative sales disciplines. This requires a maximum effort to contact our many registrants, along with creating and developing relationships with clients to maintain and exceed budgeted expectations. 



Responsibilities:

 Manage and prioritize sales leads developed by the Marketresearch.com website and develop and build a pipeline of new business opportunities by using specific methods for territory development that includes cold calling, existing customers and Web registrants.

 Develop existing Marketresearch.com customers into new business opportunities by cross selling and up selling.

 Maintain the sales database for lead tracking and pipeline development efforts.

 Maintain level of key metrics to meet minimum activity requirements (call volume) on a consistent basis.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

 1 - 3 years experience in Publishing or conference sales Experience in consultative selling and Client Relations

 Proven track record of exceeding quota and business goals Quick learner with demonstrated sales ability Self starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Persistent sales professional with extensive cold calling experience High-energy individuals who enjoy selling in a fast paced, high growth small company
