Position Overview: Global wire service seeks competitive Account Executive to join the sales staff in Los Angeles. The primary emphasis of this position is on selling news distribution and associated services to public companies, private firms and PR & IR agencies and successfully maintaining existing accounts. This position requires a concentration on outreach initiatives to clients via telephone and in-person, including strong written correspondence and follow up strategies.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of new business development and sales strategies. Excellent presentation, communication, networking and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as strong business development and account management skills. BA/BS degree strongly preferred. Familiarity with public relations, investor relations, media and financial markets a plus.
