Maclaren USA, Inc. is the distributor of premium baby strollers and accessories designed for the needs of parents and infant.

 

We are currently seeking a West Coast Sales Executive preferably in the greater San Francisco or Los Angeles area. Applicant must be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building a business from the ground up through leveraging relationships, managing accounts and significantly growing sales volume.

 

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will require extensive local travel within California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Washington State.

The ideal candidate must possess strong presentation and effective communication skills coupled with a professional appearance and attitude that will represent the company in a highly ethical manner and enhances the company’s reputation and image. The candidate must understand positioning and the selling of branded consumer products. This individual must be detail oriented with strong organization and follow-through skills and have the ability to work independently without direct supervision and within the confines of the Maclaren USA, Inc. Sales Policies.

The candidate will be responsible for:

· Sales forecasting for the designated territory.

· Maximize sales based on monthly sales targets.

· Ensure retail stores are regularly visited and provide outstanding customer service.

· Ensure Maclaren product is properly merchandised and staff is fully trained.

· Manage the California-based training staff and demonstrator program.

· Coordinate with Sales Administration and Logistics to ensure all customer service issues are addressed.

· Provide monthly and yearly reporting.

· Participate in trade shows.

· Management of the Maclaren Authorized Dealer Program.

Qualifications

 

· Bachelor’s degree and post-graduate degree required.

· Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a branded product industry.

· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to become proficient in Navision and Demand Solutions.
