Account Manager

This job exists to develop and maintain accounts in order to sell and service utility and municipal equipment to existing and future customers. Act as a liaison between customers and TEREX Utilities sales, service, parts and administration on a regular and daily basis to ensure excellent service, on time delivery, customer satisfaction and high quality end product. 1. Initiate Sales through direct customer contact. Develop specifications and monitor all changes as they occur. 2. Attend product shows, conventions, sales training and other related client/company functions/activities as required. 3. Work closely with sales coordinator on bid preparation and review prior to release. 4. Provide follow up service to company accounts with respect to parts or service problems. Write specifications for customers. 5. Attend pre bid, pre build and pre paint meetings as well as post build follow up as required. 6. Assist in preparation of sales projections and forecasts. 7. Thoroughly demonstate and familiarize customers with equipment purchased 8. Travel as required. 9. Perform other duties and projects as assigned and required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • College degree or equivalent experience • 2-3 years sales experience with some background in Utility Equipment preferred TRAINING: SKILLS: • Strong customer orientation • Mechanical aptitude essential • Able to drive various vehicles, driving for long periods of time as physical requirement of position • Able to obtain/maintain CDL as condition of employment • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment • Commitment to company values • Effectively interact with others; upper management, subordinates, peers and industry contacts   If interested, please apply online at http://track.jobviper.com/ViewJob.asp?id=513454-3-713
