Description of the Job:
Responsible for the complete implementation, fulfillment and execution and administration of non-traditional advertising products for the advertising department that supports a sales strategy of increased revenue, market share and an overall commitment to growth and innovation.
Job Qualifications:
A high level of energy that enthusiastically embraces a fast-paced and constantly evolving work place At least a 4-year degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field Newspaper or print product experience a plus Strong knowledge of the production process Able to effectively complete multi-step product processes A highly organized and efficient multi-tasker Independent self starter with a solutions-oriented attitude Proactive, detail-oriented and very organized Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills, including verbal (in-person and telephone) and written Excellent problem-solving skills Be held accountable for meeting all deadlines, schedules and workflow Monitor and stay current with all products produced by the team Be familiar with primary responsibilities of other team members and assist them when necessary Must communicate well across departmental lines and be able to interact well with various levels of employees within departments
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with vendors and sales reps to process orders, develop client artwork and work withdepartment artists for all products. Schedule and fulfill Niche products with other departments within the organization? Responsible for billing of all products processed through department Be a resource to sales reps and managers with questions about niche products/publications. Assemble Niche Division employee training manuals Work with Manager on new employee training sessions Act as a liaison with other departments by attending meetings and communicating information between departments Coordinate with outside print vendors for Niche product placement, scheduling and production. Maintain company server folders to ensure that all sales materials are current and accurate Maintain product kickoff schedule for all advertising divisions Gather and prepare materials for sales meetings/publication and product kick offs Track sales revenue and ad manifests Work with layout teams to ensure advertiser requests are fulfilled Review and verify sponsorship agreement fulfillment by the Niche Division. Position reports to the Niche Division Manager
