Ann Taylor - Retail- Manager, Procurement Strategy

Job Description:The Procurement Strategy Manager will be accountable for conducting complex market and internal data analysis to support strategic sourcing projects for various areas of indirect spend (non-merchandise spend). This will involve collaborating with management teams from a variety of departments to ensure the successful completion of sourcing projects. This is a highly visible position which will support growth and significantly impact future initiatives at Ann Taylor.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Development and execution of sourcing strategies for all corporate indirect spend Collect data for strategic sourcing projects, including supplier and supply market information, internal spend and spec information, data on usage and performance of goods/services and industry benchmarks Perform complex data analysis and build financial models (i.e. ROI, NPV, supplier scorecards, internal vs. outsource) Analyze supplier responses to RFIs and RFPs against both a quantitative and qualitative criteria Identify new supply sources Drive Procurement initiatives that support Ann Taylor’s long range strategic plan Conduct negotiations with non-merchandise suppliers High level of focus and involvement throughout entire duration of sourcing initiatives (RFP research and development through contract completion)Position Requirements: Business consulting experience (3-5 years in a top five consulting firm) Undergraduate degree (MBA desired) Retail / CPG experience needed Ability to lead and influence change in the face of complexity and ambiguity Proven track record of building teams and partnerships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective problem solving and negotiation skills Results orientated (proven track record of delivering results)Years of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
