Job Description:Ann Taylor Direct is currently seeking a Manager of Photography Production and Art Buying for its e-commerce divisions. The Manager of Photography Production and Art Buying will oversee all photo shoot production, art buying, and image production for the Ann Taylor (merce sites. The Manager of Photography Production and Art Buying will manage a significant budget on a day to day basis as well as establish, and manage several external vendor relationships. This role should possess excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work well in teams. In addition, this role will directly manage a team of two photography production coordinators and oversee the creation, trafficking, coordination, and maintenance of all photography assets for the website. As well, this role will indirectly manage on-set photo shoot team of 12+ people and ensure smooth day-to-day photography operations. As part of this role, the Manage of Photography Production and Art Buying will own all art buying for the Internet division and will be charged with balancing creative with the budget. This role is a unique opportunity to be a part of both the business and creative sides of the department. The Manager of Photography Production and Art Buying will work closely with internal teams including Web Production, Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative to achieve on-brand, on-budget, and on-time photography. This position will report to the Director of Web Production. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising and Production teams to set strategic photography goals for each season in order to deliver on business needs Directly manage two coordinators, and indirectly manage photo shoot team Manage significant photography and image re-touching budget, including invoicing, forecasting, and month-end close process Manage dozens of vendor relationships including contract negotiations Oversee day-to-day photography operations with photography studio, image re-touching vendor, and internal teams to create 2000+ assets per month Manage overall operations of in-house photo studio Balance creative with budget Source talent, manage castings, and bookings, negotiate usage and costs across models, photographers, hair and make-up artists, and studio Art Buying responsibilities for AT and ATL style guide shoots as well as post-production Oversee creation of seasonal photo shoot and image production schedules for 200+ shoots a year Oversee post-production timelines and costs Produce seasonal editorial photo shoots as needed Manage ad hoc special projects as neededEducation / Experience: Bachelor's degree Minimum 3 years experience in photo shoot production and art buying and/or project management (e-commerce and fashion retail experience preferred) Experience managing direct reports and teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong project management skills Strong negotiation skillsMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: 3-5 YearsExpected Travel Time: None
