Job Description:The Merchandise Planner is responsible for developing the departmental financial plans and working with Store Planning to develop strategies for maximizing bottom-line profitability. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Developing seasonal plans, which tie to corporate sales, gross Margin, and turn targets; -Forecasting sales, Inventory, gross margin, and price reductions by analyzing current trends-Providing ad hoc analysis to CFT members on all facets of business; and working with the Merchandising and Store Planning team to develop strategic initiatives, which will drive sales and gross margin Position Requirements:-Bachelor's Degree, with 2 - 3 years Merchandise Planning experience-Must have strong number and analytical aptitude-Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters and materials-Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, satisfying deadlines-Strong verbal and written communication skills -Must have the ability to recognize new fashion trends-Proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExpected Travel Time: None
