We are also looking for someone skilled in small motor repair to fix lawn tractors, generators, compressors, and other lawn equipment.Sears technicians are the best equipped in the industry---you will be provided a Sears van, fuel, and laptop computer needed to do the job! In fact, Sears technicians travel directly to their first call from home each morning. We have a computer-generated routing system that enables us to maximize customer satisfaction.Local residents only, unless planning to relocate soon.QualificationsIf you are willing to relocate to Kailua-Kona, HI, reply as to how/when this would take place; preference given to local residents.Previous experience repairing household appliancesElectrical knowledge requiredCFC Certification recommended, but not requiredExcellent customer service skillsSells preventative maintenance product extensions and maintenance agreements to customer (bonus compensation programs available!)Strong knowledge of basic electrical theory Use appropriate tools and equipment in diagnosing and completing repairsRead and interpret documents such as schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manualValid driver s license and good driving recordComputer skills necessaryCapable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)Background check to include drug test, DMV and criminalBenefitsAs a Sears associate, your career path options will be determined by your performance and your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
