Applications Developer

RightStaff Inc, a technical staffing firm based in Dallas, TX, is currently seeking a 1-3 Year ASP.net developer for a direct hire opportunity in Downtown Dallas.

 

Day to day responsibilities will include:Develop application modifications and enhancements using relevant technologies Create technical design for application modifications and enhancements based upon user requirements and specifications.Prepare detailed technical specifications that document the modifications or enhancements.Participate in design and application code reviews with peers.Assist in application quality assurance efforts as needed, including unit testing and system tests based on pre-defined test plans.Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures used to populate all application reports.Develop and maintain reports used to present data output to users.  Provide ongoing user support via phone and email for users of procurement systems Investigate and correct data and application issues within the system.

Requirements for this position include:

·  1-3 years of relevant, successful Information Systems experience working as an application developer. 

·  Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, T-SQL, Web Services, and XML.

·  Experience utilizing a software development methodology in designing and building software applications is required. 

·  Experience in the use of development source control tools such as Microsoft Visual Source Safe or PVCS Version Manager is required.
