Assembly Technician

Job Description:CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for an Assembly Technician.Responsibilities include fabrication and assembly of basic components and structures, interpretation of blueprints, specifications, and other related manufacturing instructions; in-process inspection methods, techniques, operation, and usage of shop related equipment and precision tooling.Qualified candidate must be able to follow verbal and written instructions, have the ability to use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages and other tools related to the job requirements. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and blueprint reading is a must.Minimum of 3-5 years directly related experience in the manufacturing of aerospace deployable structures and mechanical mechanisms. Scope of work varies from soldering, crimping, structural bonding, calibration of equipment, and testing of product.
