Manage a portfolio of Community Development Loans and Investments from a credit risk perspective. Monitor loans for compliance with terms and conditions. Review and make recommendations about risk ratings and asset classifications. Manage modifications and extensions of loans; collaborate with the work-out team, if necessary. Perform quarterly review of the progress of construction projects. Perform annual Asset Quality Reviews, or more frequently, as needed, including site inspections and assessments. Monitor repayments and research and resolve past due loan issues. Collaborate with Loan and Investment Administration to review and approve periodic construction loan advances, with particular attention to sources of funds, and resolve complex administrative issues. Collaborate with Loan and Investment Administration and legal counsel to complete the conversions of construction loans to permanent loans.Job Experience:Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • 7 years experience in the underwriting and/or portfolio management of commercial real estate and/or community development construction loans Preferred Qualifications: • Strong oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Completion of credit training program Capital One will not file non-immigrant visa petitions for alien workers.Will consider candidates in NYC or Houston, TX.No agencies please.
