Assistant Controller

A Leading Service Company located in Bergen County, New Jersey has an excellent opportunity for a Assistant Controller who will be responsible for:

 

- Oversee billing and payable

- Day to day accounting, journal entries

- Cash flow management

- Payroll, benefits and insurance administration

- Business taxes

- Establish accounting policies and procedures

- Develop and analyze statistical and accounting information

- Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

- Prepare monthly financial reports for shareholders

- Manage financial projects and initiatives

- Coordinate external and internal audit activities

 

Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:

 

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/ CPA a plus

- 7+ years of related experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
