EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven years progressive restaurant or food service management experience. College Degree in Restaurant Management, Dietetics or Nutrition preferred. Produces all cycle menus and costs; acquires all required equipment and supplies for the Department; oversees production employees and service employees; coordinates with CB Dining Services Managers, Catering/Events Manager and Coordinator of Quality Assurance/Staff Development for menu implementation and special events; plans catering menus (or works with Catering/Events Manager to plan) and special events menus; coordinates retail services; provides residents, staff, and the community-at-large with high quality food and service. Serves as the human resource specialist for the dining services department.
