Associate Configuration Analyst - SAP Pricing/Promotion

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The System Analyst, Pricing & Promotions is an SAP configuration position. The incumbent is responsible for identifying and executing the most appropriate configuration within SAP Retail to meet the business requirements. The position will also work in collaboration with internal and external partners to identify functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified candidates must possess the ability to: 1. Research, identify, execute and test appropriate configuration related to SAP Retail in the areas of: retail pricing, retail promotions and POS outbound interfaces. 2. Write clear, complete functional specifications for the development team 3. Collaborate with Business Intelligence partners to help facilitate analytics development to support inventory management and support financial requirements 4. Engage and contribute to implementation activities, including functional design, configuration, testing and documentation 5. Prioritize their workload in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 6. Provide cross-functional leadership to identify, prioritize and solve problems quickly and efficiently QUALIFICATIONS: 1. BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or a related discipline required 2. Previous implementation of SAP Retail pricing and promotions functionality strongly preferred 3. Experience interfacing SAP with POS systems preferred 4. At least 4 years of experience in an I/S environment - must include requirements gathering, functional testing, and development and/or configuration 5. Demonstrated leadership experience and proven ability to work under pressure 6. Must possess solid PC skills/Microsoft Office Products 7. Requires excellent problem solving, oral and written communication, and interpersonal relationship skills 8.
