Associate Development Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Assist in developing product for assigned categories to meet merchants buy needs seasonally. Work under the direction of Product Manager to execute Seasonal Concept direction, line plan style needs, margin requirements, and completion of product. Manage Brand Integrity through internal and external Design and Product Development. Continue to evolve Chico's product process. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop product under the direction of Development Manager for assigned categories. Create development packages w/Development Manager and communicate to vendors. Interface with product team daily to ensure approvals for on time delivery. Assist in developing new fabric & techniques Assist in creating visual boards & samples to prepare for seasonal product review Attend fit sessions for development only Work with product manager on initial costing to maintain required IMU Assist product team in opening and distributing daily packages QUALIFICATIONS: · 3 - 6 years experience in design or product development · 4- Year College Degree · Excellent Organizational Skills · Excellent Communication Skills · Exposure to PDM or Comparable Software · Experience with Fit Sessions, Fabric Development, Finishes and Construction Details · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint ) xchicox #cb# NOTICE: Chico's FAS, Inc. and its affiliates (Chico's) do not accept unsolicited candidate referrals or resumes from recruitment agencies.
