Associate Director, Insights and Analytics

Job Description:About the Team:The goal of the Insights & Analytics team at GM Planworks is to identify insights that feed better media decisions based on an understanding of consumer behavior and motivations. About the Position:Associate Director, Insights & Analytics, is an experienced management position with the Insights & Analytics team. This position will play a key role in discovering, analyzing and interpreting research to better understand the relationship between consumers, media and brands. Responsibilities: Manage the design, execution, and analysis of primary media research on specific issues as defined by the GM Client(s) and GMPW and Insights & Analytics team management Understand, master and utilize secondary/syndicated research for consumer insights, and/or to complement, validate and support primary research insights Work with a planning and investment teams as a conduit for insights sharing and consumer insights/research center-of-expertise. Create clear, creative, and persuasive presentations and prose summary research reports as assigned Deploy strategic and creative thinking skills to solve problems and apply best practices from one project to another Minimum Qualifications: Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree OR some combination of completed relevant coursework toward Bachelors degree and/or related work experience totaling at least 4 years is required. 5 to 7 years of market or media/advertising research experience, including primary research experience, as well as quantitative research experience. Qualitative research experience highly desired as well. Media/advertising agency experience not required but a plus.
