Location: US-CA-San Francisco Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: ACS inc Associate, Global Survey Job Description:Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the development of survey questionnaires and prepare for data submission using statistical software. Execute surveys including data quality assurance, data analysis, and report production. Produce reports and make recommendations for improvements in both analytical techniques and survey output. Ensure that research is conducted on competitor products and those new products and enhancements to existing products are designed with an awareness of the competitive environment. Work and partner with the appropriate consulting lines of business to understand reporting needs and make business process change recommendations so that the system can align with the processes and support client work. Communicate survey/research results to the consulting lines of business and participants through survey/research data. Manipulate large and complex databases in preparation for data analyses. Responsible for designated survey design (re-design, where necessary) and output. Interpret data analysis results and help develop recommendations for the appropriate consulting lines of business. Responsible for ensuring that survey clients have all appropriate submission materials and instructions and serve as the primary point of contact for questions, business development opportunities and subscriber feedback. Primary responsibility for the timely submission of survey data and for ensuring an acceptable level of quality among survey submissions. Work and coordinate with Sales Team to develop special cuts/analyses of data for after-market sales and to ensure timelines and counts are met.Job Experience:Requirements/Skills Sought: Bachelor's Degree (concentration in Math, Business, or Economics a plus). 0-2 years similar experience preferable. Must enjoy working with data and numbers and be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Must be a quick learner and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideal candidates have: exceptional analytical skills, ability to multi-task, fundamental business understanding, strong organizational skills, and professional presence. Key Success Factor: As a Survey Data Analyst, you will be actively involved as an integral member of a variety of project teams spanning across different industries and clients. Survey Data Analysts receive on-the-job training from all Global Survey Resources staff and can expect to be assigned to several projects simultaneously to provide a broad exposure to our work. Previous exposure and knowledge of compensation/human resources a plus.
