ASSOCIATE REPORTING ANALYST

 

We’re looking for fresh analytical minds to support our reporting team and help The Knot Wedding Network provide up-to-date information for our advertisers.  If you are looking for work experience that will teach you to think critically and at the same time have a direct impact on The Knot’s expanding array of advertising offerings, this is the position for you.

 

Description:

 

In order to provide the latest data to our National Sales Team and Account Managers, the Associate Reporting Analyst must understand the data needs of the advertisers, as well as the underlying data systems tracking online placements.  This position is predominantly business-related, while a strong ability to learn new systems is preferred.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:

 Gathering and compiling data from online placementsIdentifying trends and irregularities in large volumes of dataGenerating and updating daily/weekly/monthly reportsPerformance analysis of different product offeringsDesigning new reports to further marketing/sales effortsAd-hoc analyses as requested by individual business units


The ideal candidate will be a great problem-solver and proactive contributor to streamlining the reporting process.  The ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented is essential.  A strong work ethic and ability to learn new systems quickly is also highly desired.

 

Skills Required:

 Bachelors Degree0-2 years reporting experienceStrong quantitative ability – experience working with large quantity of data and numbersAttention to detail Strong ability to multitask Ability to work under deadlines and be flexible with changing prioritiesOutstanding communication and organization skills

 

Software Skills Desired:

 Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AccessKnowledge of DART and CoreMetrics is preferred but not required
