We currently have TWO Business Objects Programmer Analyst positions available and are taking resumes immediately! We will be contacting all qualified candidates this week!!! BUSINESS OBJECTS PROGRAMMER ANALYST (two positions!) Responsibilities: Responsible for translating business questions and requirements into Enterprise Business Intelligence dashboards, performance measures, reports, views, and query objects. Participates in designing, developing, testing and maintaining analytic objects including end-user training and documentation and second-line support activities.  Works with the Data Warehouse team to evaluate data sources, define business rules, summary/aggregation design for performance and ensure integrity and security of data and information usage within the Business Intelligence environment.Knowledge/Skills Required: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent Minimum of four years of Business Intelligence and analytics experience. 4+ years experience with Oracle and SQL.  Minimum of 2 years experience with Business Objects Enterprise version XIR2, specifically Web Intelligence, Performance Manager, Universe Design  Universe Design Resolving loops using aliases, contexts, and knowledge regarding best practices. Object definition and LOV definitions with custom SQL. Creating hierarchies and managing data security with restriction sets. Performance Mgmt (Business Objects XIR2) Creating Goals, metrics, and dashboard analytics Rules and scheduler for refreshing objects Dashboard design Web Intelligence Report Design (Business Objects XI/XIR2) Advanced WEBI reporting including merging multiple queries into a single report. Creating drill paths and linked reports with html links. Use BO formulas and variables to create custom measures and calculations. Advanced formatting utilizing sections, breaks, and graphics. JSP language skills a plus. Strong working knowledge of the different types of analysis tools, techniques and approaches (reporting, canned queries, decision support, data mining, etc.) Detailed knowledge of analytical programming and reporting languages, multi-dimensional data structures, testing and data management. Experience on Sun Solaris UNIX platform. Experience in Automotive Aftermarket Industry or Distribution Industry a plus Experience with MicroStrategy software a plus.
