Job Description:

Benefit Fund Manager for Taft-Hartley Pension, Welfare and Annuity Trust Funds located in Nassau county, Long Island, NY. Candidate must possess hands-on experience in administering day-to-day operations of similar trust funds including supervision of staff.

Responsibilities include:

- Resolving problems that affect administration of plan

- Responding to questions posed by plan participants and beneficiaries

- Maintaining ongoing communications with all plan service providers

- Updating and maintaining eligibility and participant files

- Overseeing recordkeeping and accounting functions

- Review, recommend and implement necessary operational controls to ensure the adequate protection of plan assets.

- Ensure compliance with trust fund policies and government, ERISA and HIPAA regulations

 

Qualifications include a working knowledge of Taft Hartley Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plan administration. Individual should be analytical and desire to serve plan participants and beneficiaries. Must have proven communication and organizational skills, and must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive participant information.
