Benefits/Payroll Administrator

This well-established (125 years) Westchester NY based company with a worldwide presence seeks an accomplished and detail oriented payroll and benefits administrator.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits in a multi-site, multi-company environment.  This company offers an exceptional benefit package including pension plan, profit sharing, 401(k) plan and excellent health benefit program.

 

Responsibilites: Serve as a resource for employees requiring benefit programs.Administer and process employee benefit deductionsPrepare remittances to third parties relating to payroll deductions.Assist with annual open enrollment.Process payroll for both union and non-union employees.Review payroll reports and send electronically.Coordinate with accounting to review and approve monthly benefit statements.Update employee statistical spreadsheets.Run ADP reports on a schedule and ad hoc basis.

Qualifications:Knowledge of medical/dental plans, COBRA and FMLA.Experience utilizing ADP for Windows, Microsoft Office, Report Smith a plus.Ability to organize work in an efficient manner and be proactive to meet deadlines.Possess strong verbal and written communications skills and interacts effectively with various levels within the organization.
